Dr. Feldman is Professor of Dermatology, Pathology, and Public Health Sciences at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He received his medical and graduate degrees from Duke University. He completed a dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a dermatopathology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Feldman's chief clinical interest is psoriasis, which, along with health services investigations in dermatology, is the main focus of his research.
Dr. Pandya is Professor of Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He serves as Director of the Clinic for Lymphoproliferative Disorders and as Director of the Clinical Studies section of the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Pandya received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed residencies in internal medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and in dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Pandya's chief clinical and research interests are pigmentary disorders, blistering skin disorders, cutaneous lymphomas, and the dermatologic manifestations of systemic diseases.
Dr. Eastern is Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education. He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed an internship at Memorial Hospital Medical Center and a residency in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Eastern is active in many dermatological societies, and he is President of the Dermatological Society of New Jersey. He holds teaching positions at a number of hospitals and has delivered over 500 academic speaking presentations. For many years, he has given a course in office efficiency at annual meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Spencer is Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and he maintains a private practice in St. Petersburg. He received his master of science degree from Stanford University and his medical degree from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Spencer completed an internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, a residency in dermatology at Columbia University, and a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Spencer's primary clinical interest is dermatological surgery. He has held several academic positions in dermatological surgery and has had numerous speaking engagements on this topic.
Dr. Aractingi is Professor at the Faculté de Médecine Saint Antoine in Paris and is the head of the Department of Dermatology in Tenon Hospital, Paris. He received his medical certification from Pitié-Salpêtrière School of Medicine, trained in dermatology, and obtained a PhD in cutaneous physiology.
Dr. Aractingi has been involved in research on skin manifestations of hematological malignancies. More recently he has been investigating the implication of chimeric cells in cutaneous pathology.
Dr. Hexsel is currently responsible for the Cosmetic Dermatology Service at the Department of Dermatology of the Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She is the Principal Investigator of the Brazilian Center for Studies in Dermatology and, Medical Director of the Hexsel Dermatologic Clinic, both in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Presently, she is also working on the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Society of Dermatologic Surgery (SBCD), International Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) and the International Committee of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS).
Dr. Hexsel graduated at the School of Medicine at Passo Fundo University, Passo Fundo, Brazil, and is a Board-Certified Dermatologist by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology. She is former Professor of Dermatology at the School of Medicine at the University of Passo Fundo. She was president of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology, Rio Grande do Sul Chapter in 1995 and 1996, and she was the Coordinator of the Cosmetic Dermatology Department of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology in 2003 and 2004.
She is editor and co-editor of 5 medical books and has authored many articles and book chapters in the cosmetic field, mainly on cellulite, fillers, botulinum toxins, and pigmentary disorders. Dr. Hexsel's clinical interests comprise mainly cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Miyachi is Professor and Chairman of the Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the Kyoto University School of Medicine, and went on to complete postgraduate studies in internal medicine at Tenri General Hospital and in dermatology at Kyoto University Hospital. Dr. Miyachi is an active member of several dermatological societies, and serves on the editorial board of three leading dermatology journals (J Dermatol, Int J Clin Oncol and Br J Dermatol).
Dr. Miyachi's chief areas of research lie in mast cell biology, photobiology and the effects of free radicals.
